Product Overview

The Sugia OmniScope C68 is a high-performance multifunctional industrial videoscope built around a motorized 360° all-way articulating probe and an 8-inch IPS HD touchscreen. As a true 360 degree articulating videoscope, it steers the probe tip through a full hemisphere — bending ≥160° in any direction — so inspectors can navigate turbine blade rows, branched pipework, and complex castings that fixed or 2-way cameras cannot reach. Steering is driven by an electric joystick on the handpiece and mirrored by a touchscreen virtual joystick, with an on-screen probe-coordinate display showing the current bending angle in real time. This dual-input design makes the C68 a precise joystick steering inspection camera: the operator dials in an exact angle, and the motorized drive holds it without spring-back while the finding is documented.

The 8-inch IPS full-view touchscreen renders the inspection image with accurate color and a wide viewing angle, reducing visual fatigue during long survey sessions. Camera heads are available from 160,000 pixels up to 2.0 megapixels, so the platform scales from routine screening to fine-defect documentation as an HD CMOS industrial borescope. Insertion tubes are fully interchangeable — ten diameters from 0.95 mm to 8.0 mm and working lengths from 1 m to 10 m — letting one host cover micro-bore access ports through large cavities. The tungsten-wire braided tube is rated IP67 for submerged and contaminated environments.

For quantitative work, the premium configuration adds a binocular stereo 3D measurement system with nine measurement modes — length, vertical, depth, multi-segment, area, missing corner, sectional, circle, and gap — at 0.01 mm accuracy with measurement error ≤ 5%. Built-in Bluetooth, WiFi, HDMI output, and LAN live streaming let supervisors and off-site experts view the inspection feed simultaneously, supporting multi-person consultation and remote expert review without a separate capture device.
