The Sugia OmniScope N5 is a professional-grade 2-way articulating industrial videoscope purpose-built for automotive engine diagnostics, pipeline surveys, and heavy machinery NDT. Its defining feature is a mechanical 180°–210° two-way rotating probe with an innovative lens lock — once the operator dials in a steering angle, the lock holds the position without spring-back, enabling stable, hands-free inspection of cylinder bores, valve seats, and turbocharger inlets.

Visuals are rendered on a bright 5.0-inch HD IPS display driven by a 1.0-megapixel (1280×720) CMOS sensor with a 90° field of view. The large screen allows inspectors to identify pitting, scoring, and carbon deposits on-site without an external monitor. A real-time temperature display and high-temperature protection circuit safeguard the system during engine cooldown inspections, automatically alerting the operator before the probe exceeds 90 °C.

On-board controls cover 1×/2×/4× digital zoom, image flip, and one-click photo (JPEG) and video (MP4) capture — documentation is immediate, with no external capture device required. The flexible metal insertion tube resists kinking in tight engine compartments, while Type-C and TF-card ports provide straightforward data offload.
